On November 19-22, 2019, the world-famous Astana Ballet Theater will perform for the first time in San Francisco, San Diego, Escondido and Los Angeles with Masterpieces, featuring a diverse world-class repertoire. Also, the American public will be introduced to the neoclassical one-act performances of "Love Fear Loss" and "A Fuego Lento" by a guest choreographer from Brazil Ricardo Amarante and the recent attainment of the theater Love's Lost Idols by Nicolo Fonte. If the first one choreographed plastic, rich in emotional colors of songs by Edith Piaf ("Love Fear Loss") and rhythms of samba and tango ("A Fuego Lento"), then the second, a native of New York, is an adherent of visual graphic style on the verge of dance and design .

"Love's Lost Idols" is a lyrical meditation, a plastic paraphrase of the answer to the question: "How do we live and love, knowing that everything will come to an end?". Nothing is forever, nothing is permanent, there is only "here" and "now", only this can be fully perceived and be rejoiced.

The ballet is inspired by extraordinary life and delightful music of the French singer Edith Piaf. Each duet gives rise to feelings of tremulous love, then fear of indifference and, finally, tragedy of loss.
